“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
Albus Dumbledore
Like anyone, I’ve been through some dark and desperate times in my life.
But there is one thing I’ve taken away from every single one of them:
These times DO NOT last.
No matter how convinced you are that you’ll never be happy again, I promise you, you will be.
My mum unexpectedly died when I was in my early twenties.
And I distinctly remember that, at the time, the world felt like a carousel – a carousel that was still spinning, but someone I had been thrown off it.
Life went on around me, but without me.
It felt like the world as I knew it had been replaced by a bad copy of itself, where everything looked the same but wasn’t.
For a while, all I did was stare into space and stroke my pet bunny’s fur.
I couldn’t really imagine the world ever turning brighter again.
And I’m sure you’ve had similar experiences in your life, or maybe you’re even going through one right now.
This is why I’d like to introduce you to White Raven.
White Raven is one of the founding fathers of my The Return of the White Animals oracle, so to speak, as he was one of the first White Animals I painted, which later led to the oracle being born.
If you’re going through a tough time right now, imagine White Raven by your side, whispering in your ear:
“When you traverse the dark valley of despair, remember you are just passing through and will soon experience the joy of dancing across the mountains of light again.
Keep an eye out for little sparks of light along the way; they are signposts of encouragement.
Just as the sun brightens the sky after each night, its rays will soon warm your heart again, too.”
You can connect with White Raven any time and let him be your beacon of hope.
